Wildest Parties 15 Minute Freewriting Story by Stella Carrier
            45 year old Vicky Roth has just got done helping to set up a Halloween party at a university in Los Angeles for a costume party where many of both the attendees and employees are allowed to dress as different celebrities. Vicky has been told that she looks a lot like Taylor Swift and so she is choosing to dress up as one of the costumes and looks that Taylor Swift has in her Wildest Dreams video. The Halloween party is just in a few hours and Vicky Roth is picking up her friend Hazel Roads along the way. Currently,  48 year old Hazel Roads is at one of the ticket counters at the University of Southern California Los Angeles campus picking up tickets to see a Flo Rida concert the next night. Roads actually won the tickets to see him in concert after calling in at the right time once one of the local radio stations (based out of Hollywood California) played the song Cake by Flo Rida and 99 Percent.  Hazel Roads looks at the time because she realizes that time is coming close for Vicky Roth to come pick her up. Hazel Roads and Vicky Roth have planned to go to a Party City store to pick up some last minute items both for the costume party (as Roads is wanting to complete  a costume to look similar to one of the looks that Katy Perry wore in her Birthday video). Hazel Roads realizes that she needs to remind Vicky Roth to call her sister who lives in Bethesda Maryland.
            On the other side of the country, Vicky Roth’s adoptive sister 52 year old Kate Douglas is preparing a themed birthday party for one of her best friends Janet Gordon who is a fan of Florence and the Machine as well as Macklemore. Kate Douglas works as an event planner for a facility on Andrews Airforce Base and so she has a lot of professional knowledge at her disposal to plan this party for her best friend Janet Gordon. As a result, Kate Douglas wants to throw a themed party that is a hybrid mashup of the song Can’t Hold Us by Macklemore, Ryan Lewis, and Ray Dalton and The Dog Days Are Over music video by Florence and the Machine.
            Kate Douglas is inside a bookstore in a Bethesda Maryland mall when she gets a call from her sister in law  43 year old Mae Diamond. Mae Diamond is a navy public affairs officer who is currently stationed in Australia and does party planning/event planning in her off time. The song Sleeping Satellite by Tasmin Archer is playing in the background as Mae Diamond is speaking to Kate Douglas. Kate Douglas asks Mae Diamond what is going on. This is when Mae Diamond admits that Tasmin Archer is part of a concert sequence of other music artists/groups who are getting together for a fundraiser that raises money to provide food and shelter to men, women, and children of a certain income across Australia. Douglas asks her sister in law what requirements do they have when it comes to who they help with food and shelter as she too gets an idea to maybe host an event inspired by her sister in law. Diamond is about to tell her but the phone cuts off. Kate Douglas has to call Diamond back because it must have been a dropped cell phone call. Before Kate Douglas calls Diamond back she wonders what would she do if she had $100,000 dollars to organize an event similar as the one Diamond is overseeing.
